Rickey Long

Rickey Long, 67, of Cleveland passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023.

Born February 22, 1956 in Atlanta, GA to the late James H. and Gladys V. Long, he had lived in Cleveland for the past 10 years.  Rickey worked in the automobile repair industry as a mechanic and upholstery. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sallie Farris; and brothers, Ronnie Long and Bill Long.

Surviving are his children, Angie Holbrook, Dawsonville, James and Tori Long, Monroe, Wanda Summers, Dahlonega; 6 grandchildren, sisters and brother in law, Sonja Mason, Dawsonville, Barbara and Alan Keller, Dahlonega, Brenda Satterfield, Dahlonega, Lynn Marks, Cumming; brother, Michael Long, Dahlonega; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 11 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Larry Brooks will officiate.  Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Roswell.

The family will receive friends Monday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home.
