Brenda Shaw

Mrs. Brenda Shaw, age 79, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023.

She lived her life loving her husband, Tommy Shaw, and her children, Sharon Brown and husband, Gordon Brown, and Kimberly Sarbon and the late Joe Sarbon.  Her love for God and family were evident.  She was blessed to have 3 grandchildren to love, Hunter Norton and wife, Audrey, Taylor Brown, and Grace Jones.  She was also a loving NanaBobo to her 3 great-grandchildren, Kai Norton, Shia Beach and Mila Beach.

Brenda had a love for life which was evident in the way she fought to continue living during her illnesses.  She loved her friends, family, and her church.  If you called her Mama, Nana, or Ms. Brenda you know you were loved.

Our family thanks everyone who prayed for her over the years and during these last days.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Cleveland First Baptist.  The Rev. Dennis Turner and the Rev. Jimmy Peck will officiate.  Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
