Sharon Inez Castro

Sharon Inez Cole Castro, 88, of Coventry, Rhode Island and Monroe, Georgia, passed away on July 14, 2023.

Sharon was born on March 25, 1935 to Louis and Inez (Edwards) Cole in Providence, Rhode Island. She was raised and attended school in West Greenwich.  After she graduated from high school, Sharon worked in the Providence area jewelry industry. 

In 1955, Sharon married Joseph Paul Castro III. Sharon and Joe gave birth to and raised daughter, Donna, and three sons, Joe, Kevin and Eric in Seekonk, Massachusetts, and Cranston and Coventry, Rhode Island.

Sharon served many years as an in-home healthcare provider. She later moved to Grovetown, Georgia.

Sharon was predeceased by husband, Joe; her parents, Louis and Inez; sisters Doris Cole Myers and Lillian Cole Canavan; brother Fred Bertrand Cole; and daughter, Donna Marie Spurgeon (Trent). She is survived by sons Joseph P. Castro IV (Annette), Kevin M. Castro and Eric J. Castro (Anne), three grand daughters, one grandson and four great grand daughters.

Private interment will take place at Memorial Park South, Flowery Branch, Georgia.
