Christine Head

Christine Head, age 79, of Eastanollee, Georgia, formerly of Clarkesville, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 23, 2023.

Mrs. Head was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late James Heard Garmon and Ruby Emmett Garmon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Richard Howard Head, three brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Head was a very loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a very devout Christian and a member of Faith Tabernacle Full Gospel Church.

Survivors include, daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Wayne Roberts, Eastanollee, Deborah and Justin Williams, Mt. Airy, sons and daughters-in-law, David and Kimberli Head, Cleveland, Joseph and Amanda Head, Cleveland, brother, Edward Garmon, Flowery Branch, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way.

Funeral Services will be held 2:30 pm, Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel. The Rev. Christopher Lee Roberts will officiate.

The family will receive friends Saturday, from 1:30 pm until the service hour at the funeral home.
