Frank J DeMarco

Dr. Frank J. DeMarco Jr., 74, of Buford, GA, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023. Born on July 29, 1949, in Chestertown, NY, Frank was the son of Frank J. DeMarco Sr. and Norma DeMarco. He is survived by his three children: Nicolas DeMarco, Pierce DeMarco, and Talya DeMarco, his ex-wife and co-parent Alicia DeMarco and his sister Sue Ann Wilson.

Frank graduated the University of Florida Medical school in 1975 and was an accomplished Pulmonologist and Intensivist whose number one priority was providing the best care to his patients. He began his career in Denver, CO, and later practiced in Lawrenceville and Cumming, GA. Throughout his career, Frank touched countless lives and made a significant impact in the medical field.

Outside of work, Frank found joy in spending time with his children and supporting them in their various sporting and educational activities. He had a love for fitness and enjoyed working out. In his later years, Frank developed a passion for pickleball and became an avid player. He was also a devoted fan of the Florida Gators and loved watching them during football season.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 6, 2023, in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Fountain officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 6, 2023, from 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation in honor of Frank J. DeMarco Jr.

Frank will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May his soul rest in peace.
