Sharon Rose Walls

Sharon Rose Walls of Cumming, Georgia went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 4, 2023 at the age of 83. She was born on October 29, 1939 in Monroeville, Indiana to Catherine and Harold Johnston.

Sharon graduated from Argo High School in Illinois. While there, she met the love of her life, Glen Walls and was married at the First Church of the Nazarene. She began her career as a hair stylist, working out of her home. She attended cosmetology school in Chicago, and owned a total of five salons and a school of cosmetology. 

Some of Sharon’s interests were shopping, painting, baking, and volunteering at her church. She was a member of First Redeemer Church in Cumming, GA.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Glen. She is survived by her children, Cindy Walls and Brian Walls; sister, RuthAnn Johnston; grandsons, Mark (Jamie) Poole and Austin Walls; and three great-grandchildren, Evie, Barrett, and Elliott.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at 3:00 p.m. until time for the service.
