Joyce “Judy” Mary Frances Ducker Batten

Ms. Joyce “Judy” Mary Frances Ducker Batten, 74, of Gainesville, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 11, 2023.

Born April 28, 1949 to the late Clyde Ducker and Mae Adkins Ducker in Altha, Florida. Judy was an avid reader and loved her animals. Along with her parents, Ms. Batten is preceded in death by her brother Bobby Ducker.

Survivors include her daughter Shirley Rouse; son Charles A. Smith; grandchildren Maria “Niki” Maita, Joshua Rouse and Jence Ramthun; great-grandchildren Kyle Rouse and Brayden Rouse; siblings Marilyn LeDuc, Johnny Carnley and her heart sister Betty Mendenhall, as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

The family has asked in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Good News at Noon in Gainesville, Georgia.
