Barbara "Jean" Sahddock

Barbara “Jean” Shaddock, age 72, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Burrell Shaddock; brothers, Billy Jachim and Jimmy Jachim.  Mrs. Shaddock is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, John H. Shaddock of Lawrenceville; daughter, Kristi Lynn Shaddock of Lawrenceville; son, Jacob Allen (Nikki) Shaddock of Grayson, GA; grandchildren, Chase Gregory Shaddock, Christopher John David (Kristen) Bobbitt; great-grandchild, Zeke Levesque; and other relatives.  She was born on August 9, 1951 in Collins, CT.  Mrs. Shaddock was a 1968 graduate of Dixie Hollins High School, St. Petersburg, FL.  She was a veteran of the US Air Force and retired from Data Mats with ten years of service as a receptionist.  Mrs. Shaddock was a member of both The Early Risers Sunday School Class at Ivy Creek Baptist Church and of Ivy Creek Baptist Church.  She was also a member of the Eastern Star and the Order of the Amaranth.  Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Craig Dale officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ivy Creek Baptist Church, P.O. Box 2344, Buford, GA  30515.
