Willie Edge Ware

Willie Edge Ware was born April 3, 1943, in Buchanan, Georgia to the late Harry and Minnie Ware.

Willie entered the gate of heaven on August 13, 2023, after a brief illness.

Willie attended public school in Buchanan Georgia.

Willie worked doing construction all his life, where he retired.

Willie was hardworking. He was a loving father, husband, friend, brother, uncle, and grandad. Willie only needed a nice hot cup of coffee to start his morning. He would greet you with a smile, a nice HEY BABY and a hug. Willie enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. One thing about Willie weather its rain, sleet, snow or 90% outside he would be wearing a pair of cowboy boots.

Willie was predeceased by his parents Harry and Minnie Ware, Wife Ruby Lee Rodgers Ware, Daughter Jones Ware, three sisters Georgia-Kate Harrison, Katherine Ware, Juanita Kimbrough. Three Brothers, Joe Luis ware, B.L ware, and Ned ware.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his Daughters Tiera Ware, Fiera Ware. Brother Paul (Zayne) Cousins, johnny Kimbrough. One Grandson, Ziquise Ware. Five Granddaughter Makelvia Holder, Camarrie Ware, Cynthia Watson, Dior cheeks and Ke ’Mora Tate. Host of nieces, nephew, relatives, and friends. Bonus daughter Pam Porter, MeMe, and special niece Ann Kimbrough.

 Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 16th between the hours of 12-7pm at Wimberly Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends between the hours of 6-7pm. Mr. Ware's Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, August 17th at the hour of 1pm at Antioch Baptist Church. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
