Charles R. "Chuck" Parris

Charles R. “Chuck” Parris, 49, of Gainesville, GA and formerly of Buford, died suddenly Thursday, August 10, 2023. Mr. Parris has been cremated and a memorial service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Buford. Pastor Danny Newbern will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, in memory of Chuck. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Chuck and Blanche Parris, and sister, Sara Parris. He is survived by his significant other, Annmarie Pettit, Gainesville, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends. Chuck was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in Operation Desert Storm in Kuwait. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and was involved in the audio/visual ministry of the church.
