Mary Elizabeth Lynn Tanner

Ms. Mary Elizabeth Lynn “Tanner” 40, of Oakwood, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Drewery Loggins will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on February 27, 1983 in Vidalia, GA, she was the daughter of the late Richard Allen Lynn, Sr. and the late Mary Ann Chapman Lynn. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Geoff Waters.

Ms. Lynn is survived by her significant other, Josh Tanner of Oakwood; son, Will Tanner of Oakwood; brothers and sisters in law, Allen Lynn, Jr. and Janet of Lyons, GA, Scott Lynn and Joan of Douglas, GA, Shawn Lynn and Heather of Vidalia, GA; sisters, Angel Helms of Warner Robins, GA, Angela Gates of Bakersfield, CA; friends, Charlene Thompson of Vidalia, Dawn Wallace  and Wesley of Gainesville, Josh Brantley of Jacksonville, FL, Rose Lively of Norcross, GA and countless other friends and loving relatives.
