Frances "Marie" Ferguson, age 91, of Cleveland GA, passed away August 22, 2023.
Ms. Ferguson was born on August 3, 1932, to the late Marion and Euna Armistead Boyd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Mark Ferguson; brother, Royce Boyd and sister Rachel Scales Favor plus a host of other family and friends.
She was a loving, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
She made each one feel welcome as part of her family.
Survivors include Daughter Bobbie (Steve) Pate Calhoun Ga. Sons Marcus (Betty) Ferguson Sautee Nacoochee Ga. Michael (Patsy) Ferguson Dahlonega Ga. 10 grandchildren and their spouses, 19 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren. Brothers; Johnny (Marvene) Boyd, Melvin (Juanita) Boyd, Hoyt (Jean) Boyd, and several nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives.
A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mr. Jeff Narvil will speak. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Gainesville Ga. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral.
The family would like to thank the staff at Dahlonega Assisted Living and Memory Care and Northeast Georgia Hospice for all the help and care they gave her.
