David Buice

David Buice, age 85, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-four years, Patricia Kimbro Buice; father, Heard Buice; mother, Julia Mae Buice Burel; brothers, Billy Buice and Ray Buice; sisters, Laverne Freeman and Lavaine Castelli.  Mr. Buice is survived by daughters, Pattie Buice of Lawrenceville, GA and Allison Buice Cantrell (Joey) of Flowery Branch, GA; grandchildren, Ethan Cantrell of Buford and Taylor Cantrell of Flowery Branch; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kelly and Lou Kimbro of Sugar Hill, GA; and a number of beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Buice was born on August 21, 1938 in Buford, GA and graduated from Buford High School in 1956. He was retired from Dolco Packing Company after more than thirty years. Mr. Buice was a member of the Sherwood Coffee Club, and of a hunting club where he enjoyed hunting. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and of the Upper Room Sunday School Class. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 28 at the funeral home.
