Joseph "JoJo" Davis

Joseph "JoJo" Davis, age 34, of Ellijay, GA, formerly of Buford, GA, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Howard Davis and Jean Blankenship Davis; maternal grandparents, Olin Echols and Helen Louise Echols.  Mr. Davis is survived by his father, Joe Davis of East Ellijay, GA; his mother, Sonya Echols Davis of East Ellijay; twin brother, William Howard (Hannah) Davis of Statham, GA; sister, Amanda (Jordan) Thomas of Atlanta, GA; great aunt, Carolyn Weaver of Baxley, GA; and numerous of other relatives.  He was born on April 1, 1989 in Atlanta, GA and attended Peachtree Ridge High School as a special needs student.  Mr. Davis also attended First Baptist Church of Buford. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Fountain officiating.  Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children Miracle Network in memory of Joseph Scott “JoJo” Davis.
