Shirley Ann Thompson was beloved by all. She was born on August 3, 1947, in Dahlonega, GA. & She went to be with the Lord on Friday August 25, 2023, In Gainesville, GA. She was a member of Hickory Grove CME church in Dahlonega. Shirley was well known for her gentle and kind spirit. Shirley had such a giving heart and was always willing to help those in need. She always took care of others. She was a true woman of God, she would always read her bible and spread the word of God.
Shirley is predeceased by her brother: Michael (Nook) Thompson, Sister: Carolyn Marcus, and her only Child: Della Lucille Thompson (Lucy).
She is Survived by her brother, Dean Thompson, Stepsister, Dedra Smith, Grandchildren Joseph Thompson, Jasmin Gaudlock, Justine Gaudlock, Judah bailey, Jaydon bailey, and Emily bailey, and her Great Grandchildren.
The visitation will be held Sunday, September 3rd at the hour of 1pm at Wimberly Funeral Home. Ms. Thompson's Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 3rd at the hour of 2pm at Wimberly Funeral Home. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
