Mary Ward Tillery

Mary Ward Tillery age 96 of Buford, GA died Thursday, August 31, 2023. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Danny Newbern will officiate.

Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.at the funeral home.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband William S. Tillery, Sr. who passed in 1988.

She is survived by her 3 children, Don R. Tillery and wife Bonne, Gail Kent (Tillery) and husband Bob, and William (Bill) Tillery, Jr. and wife Kelley. 9 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.

Mary and William were married on December 2, 1945 and she lived in the Lawrenceville/Suwanee/Buford area since 1979.

Mary loved her Lord and Savior Jesus and loved to read scripture.
