Brenda Inez Dutton

Mrs. Brenda Inez Dutton, 79, of Sugar Hill, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton with her loving family by her side.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Levi Nix and Rev. Jimmy Baker will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Monday, September 18th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, September 19th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on March 26, 1944 in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late John Mark and Ruby Mae (Ransom) Meeks. She was a beloved mother and wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all. She was a Christian who led many to Christ. She never complained and always sought to help others. She loved her church family and everyone she met. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dutton was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Meeks; sister, Barbara Meeks; granddaughter, Katelyn Baker and great grandson, James Ely Baker.

Mrs. Dutton is survived by her husband, Jack Dutton; sons and daughters in law, Jimmy and Sharron Baker of Lula, Eddie and Melissa Baker of Lula, Mark and Rhonda Baker of Sugar Hill, Kendall Baker of Gillsville, Bobby Dutton of Dawsonville; brother and sister in law, Johnny and Glenda Meeks of Chestnut Mountain; grandchildren, Amanda Baker, Christopher Baker, Sherrie Adams, Brenda Baker, Eddie Baker, Jr., Michael Baker, Kristen Baker, Josh Baker, Keely Baker, Johnathan Baker, Mark Baker, Jr., Matthew Baker, Brittany Lord; great grandchildren, James Christian Fortner, Taylor McKenzie Fortner, James Isaac Baker, Chason Rickey Baker, James Caleb Wilkerson, Aylah Lynn Adams, Brentley Shane Adams, James Hayden Sullens, Sarah Mae Burgess, Brenda Ann Nix, Heidi Baker, Jayden Baker, Gabe Baker, Cayden Wilson, Neveah Baker, Sawyer Baker, Sammi Baker, J R. Baker, Jett Lord and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
