Dina Torres-Cantu de Phan

Mrs. Dina Torres-Cantu de Phan, 54, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Emory University Atlanta.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mr. David Torres will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Born on December 16, 1968 in Monterrey, Mexico, she was the daughter of Hermalinda Torres Cantu and the late Juan Manuel Torres. She was a School Nurse at New Holland Elementary and also a Nurse with Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Phan was a member of Free Chapel.

Mrs. Phan is survived by her husband, Nui Van Phan of Gainesville; daughters, Shenna Blalock (James) of Gainesville, Abigail Stancil (Philip) of Gainesville; sons, Jonathan Phan (Hannah) of Braselton, Daniel Phan of Gainesville; grandchildren, Caeden Stancil, Judah Stancil of Gainesville; Zealand Phan of Braselton, Bo Blalock of Gainesville, Jessa Blalock of Gainesville, Cameron Blalock of Gainesville, Dansby Blalock of Gainesville; brother, Juan Manuel Torres of Gainesville; sisters, Ruth Gonzalez of TX, Linda Rivera (Luis)of Gainesville; brothers, Saul Rivera (Juany) of TX, David Torres (Alma) of Cumming and a number of other loving relatives.
