Vergia Warwick Stringer

Mrs. Vergia Warwick Stringer, age 85, of Clermont, Ga. died on September 26, 2023. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Friendship Baptist Church, Cleveland, Ga., Pastor Joey Pritchett and Pastor John Kinsey will officiate the service. Interment will follow the service at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Stringer was born in White County to the late Jesse and Fannie Lou Truelove Warwick. Mrs. Stringer was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward Stringer.  In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Warwick was also preceded in death by her sister Vivian Stover and brother Frank Warwick.

Mrs. Stringer is survived by her children, Joel Stringer (Staci), Donna Helton, and Jerry Stringer (Catherine); her grandchildren, Nancy Palmer (Matt), Debbie Smith (Jeremy), Kristina Adamson (Justin), Amber Cantrell (Gwyn), Autumn Palmer (Aaron), Kory Stringer (Devyn), Kenny Michaud (Stephanie), Kristen Gallops; 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Mrs. Stringer is also survived by her siblings Fred Warwick of Monticello, Vera Cash (Jerry) of Gainesville and Farrell Warwick (Pam) of Cleveland.

Vergia was a loving mother and grandmother.  She was a devoted member of Friendship Baptist Church where she served as treasurer for many years. She was retired from the banking industry.  Vergia enjoyed gardening and above all spending time with her family.
