Anthony Edward Pilgrim

Mr. Anthony Edward Pilgrim, age 59, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023. 

Mr. Pilgrim was born in Hall County on April 24, 1964 to Lambert and Brenda Pilgrim. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry and Lucile Pilgrim and Lamb Adams and Ola Adams Masters; and uncles, Lawrence Pilgrim, Lowell Pilgrim, and Richard Adams.  Mr. Pilgrim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors, especially trips to Colorado with his wife and friends hunting.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and enjoying life.  He worked at North Mississippi Conveyor in Oxford, Mississippi.

Survivors include wife, Maxine Pilgrim, Cleveland; daughters, Shelly Pilgrim LaChine (Jeb LaChine), Cleveland, and Tarra Fry Davey (Dustin Davey), Canton; brother, Timothy Pilgrim (Kristie Pilgrim), Cleveland; grandchildren, Riley J. Austin, Brycen L. Austin, Brelyn K. Austin, Christopher A. Austin, Drew C. Davey, and Jacob D. Davey; nieces and nephews, McKenzie C. Pilgrim, Wyatt A. Pilgrim, Bella E. Pilgrim, and Brynn A. Pilgrim; and many cousins, and a host of friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church.  Rev. JR Sosebee, Rev. Paul Flynn, Rev. Bobby Ivester will officiate.  Mr. Dustin Davey will also deliver a eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Monday, October 9, 2023 at the funeral home.
