Josiah Christian Lane

Josiah Christian Lane, 17, of Gainesville, passed away October 15, 2023 at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday. October 18, 2023 at Lakewood Baptist Church. Rev. Don Ormsbee and Mr. Alan Wallhausen will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Lakewood Baptist Church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.

He was born on November 2, 2005 in Lawrenceville, GA. He was a student.

Josiah was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry Benjamin Palmer and Linda Carol Palmer; grandfather, James Edwin Clayton and great-grandparents, Dewitt T. Cox and Edna Reeder Cox.

Josiah is survived by his parents, Michael Wesley and Jennifer Palmer Clayton of Gainesville; sisters, Deborah Ann Palmer, Makayla Noel Palmer, Amberlea Grace Palmer all of Gainesville; brother, Ryan Harrison Clayton of Gainesville; grandmother, Gail Seyfert of Gainesville; aunts and uncles, Leslie and Ron Weaver of AL, Jeri Lynne and Dave McClelland of Buford, Rachel and Kevin Wallace of Gainesville and numerous cousins and other loving relatives.
