Mr. Norman Kidd, age 87 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Accent Care Hospice, Cumming, following an extended illness.
Funeral services for both Mr. Norman and Mrs. Patsy will be held Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment for both to follow in Sawnee View Gardens, Cumming. Reverend Travis Bridgeman will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 9:00 am – 8:00 pm, at the funeral home.
Mr. Kidd was born July 15, 1936 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Wade Kidd and Emma Collins Kidd. He was retired from Peachtree Doors, with many years of service and was of the Baptist Faith. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Patsy Jo Bennett Kidd, his sons, Wesley Kidd and Floyd Flanagan, his sister, Inez Voyles and his brothers, James Kidd and Homer Kidd.
Mr. Kidd is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Gail & Gary Breazeale of Gainesville, his daughter-in-law, Rhonda Kidd of Gillsville, his grandchildren, Bryan & Stacy Kidd, Misty & Kenny Buffington, Kevin & Kayla Breazeale and Lee Edwards, his great-grandchildren, Karter Kidd, Katy Buffington, Chloe Buffington, Breena Breazeale, Payton Breazeale, Brandon Shockley and Naomi Trusty and his great-great-grandchildren, Noah Barnes, Kinsley Shockley and Ellie Mae Trusty.
