Clyde "Mitchell" Pirkle

Clyde "Mitchell" Pirkle, known affectionately to many as Pirkle, was a man of generosity, humility, love, and resilience. Born on March 31, 1971, in Buford, Georgia, Mitchell's life was a testament to the enduring strength of familial bonds. He carried his love of family with him throughout his life. Possessing a generous spirit, Mitchell was always willing to lend a hand, share a smile, or offer a word of encouragement. His humility and resilience were an inspiration to all who knew him. He was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, and Chase Elliott racing. Though Mitchell was a master of many things, what mattered most to him was his family. He was a loving brother to Amy Nix, Jennifer Sullens, Melanie Hulsey, and Kimberly Pirkle, and cherished husband to Stacy Reed. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.M. and Barbara Pirkle, who instilled in him the values of hard work and family which guided him throughout his life.
