Debra Lee Cook, age 61, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Darlene Johnson. Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband of twenty-six years, Robert E. Cook, of Sugar Hill; son, Canyon Robert (Ashley) Cook of Athens, GA; grandchildren, Stetson Cook, Emerson Cook, Anderson Cook; sisters, Christine (John) Grendzinski, Kimberly (James) Stecker, Cynthia (Jeff) Lanas, Lisa (John) Szlenk; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was born on September 7, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois. Mrs. Cook was a graduate of Lake Park High School and was employed in Human Resources with the SOS Company located in Duluth, GA. She loved camping and traveling and especially adored her family and grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Sugar Hill Cemetery, Sugar Hill, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
