William (Frank) Denson

William (Frank) Denson, 88, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on October 27, 2023. Born on February 17, 1935 in East Point, Georgia, Frank was the beloved husband of Ann Lewis Denson.

Together, they shared more than 63 years of a wonderful marriage and created a loving family. Frank is survived by his devoted sons, William Bruce Denson (Terri) and Michael Brian Denson (Melissa). He was a cherished grandfather to Chelsea Denson McCreary (Kyle), Mary Cameron Huff (Tyler), and Heather Ann Denson. Frank was also blessed with great-grandchildren Hayden Harper McCreary, Mitzi Leigh McCreary, and Tucker James Huff.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, William Frank Denson, his mother, Pauline Denson, and his sisters Thelma, Rose, Juanita, and Francis.
Frank attended Smith High School in Atlanta, Georgia, and later pursued higher education at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition to his dedication to his family, Frank served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserves. He proudly fulfilled his military duties with honor and commitment. Professionally, Frank had a successful career as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Larkin Coils for over 25 years. He also served as the Vice President of Sales for Hill-Phoenix Refrigeration from 1986 to 2000.
Outside of his work and military service, Frank had a passion for golf, traveling, and fishing. He was a loyal fan of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and enjoyed supporting his favorite team.
A Celebration of Life for Frank will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 2:00pm at Achasta Golf Club in Dahlonega, Georgia where he was an inaugural member. 
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Georgia Alzheimer's Foundation. Frank Denson will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May sweet memories bring peace and comfort throughout the days to come.
