Linda Hall Youngblood

Mrs. Linda Hall Youngblood, age 74 of Dortch Road, Eastanollee passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the Stephens County Hospital.

A daughter of the late Garnett and Winnie Maddox Hall, she was born July 26, 1949 in Jasper, Georgia, having lived in Cumming, Georgia and Norcross, Georgia for a number of years before moving to Eastanollee in 2002.  She retired from NCR as an administrative assistant in 2007 with many years of service.  She was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in Norcross.  She had many hobbies including cooking and watching the Atlanta Braves and her retirement. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edwin Maddox and by a sister, Mary Day.

Survivors include her husband of 49 ½ years, David Youngblood of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Lee Yearwood of Commerce; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Sharon Maddox of Spartanburg, South Carolina and James and Ruby Hall of Dawsonville, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Jim Hammond of Gainesville, Georgia; a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be Saturday, November 4, 2023, 2 o’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Mr. Raymond Mattison and Mrs. Nancy Brownlow officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the service time at 2 p.m.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
