Rawleigh Benson Brown, Jr.

Rawleigh Benson Brown, Jr., age 48, of Auburn, GA passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, Rawleigh B. Brown, Sr.  Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Monica Hutchins Brown, of Auburn; children, Kierra Dryden of Auburn, Raven Brown of Lawrenceville, GA, Rawleigh B. Brown, III of Auburn; mother, Jackqueline Sadler of Gainesville, GA; brothers, Dameion Bennett of Buford, GA, Torri Bennett of Buford; sisters, Keisa (Charles) Bostick of Dallas, TX, Ramonn Long of Lake City, SC; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Hutchins of Dacula, GA; father-in-law, James Hutchins of Dacula; sister-in-law, Melissa Mapp of Dacula; and several nieces and nephews.  He was born on August 10, 1975 in Buford.  Mr. Brown graduated from Buford High School in 1994, and he attended Savannah State College.  He was employed with Commercial Metals as a Rebar Fabricator.  Mr. Brown was of the Baptist Faith.  He enjoyed playing poker and loved sports, especially following the Miami Hurricanes, Miami Dolphins and the Buford Wolves. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Dunagan officiating.  Interment will follow in the Christ King Baptist Church Cemetery located on 258 Rabbit Hill Road, Dacula, GA 30019.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
