Marie Rita Habulin

Ms. Marie Rita Habulin, age 93 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.

Ms. Habulin was born May 28, 1930 in Manhattan, New York to the late Thomas McGwynn and Maryann Harte McGwynn.  She retired from Lakeland Middle School, where she worked in the Cafeteria and was of the Catholic Faith.  Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene Habulin, Sr. and her son, Eugene Habulin, Jr.

Ms. Habulin is survived by her children, Maureen & John Daugherty of Gainesville, Georgia, Patricia & James Bolan of Holmes, New York, Ann Marie & Richard Simpson of Wappinger Falls, New York and Barbara Jean Habulin of Stormville, New York, her grandchildren, Jennifer Daugherty of Roswell, John Fox & Jennifer Daugherty of Cumming, Lisa Bolan, James Bolan, both of Los Angeles, CA, Kelly Simpson of Alpharetta, Ryan Simpson of Wappinger Falls, New York, Amber & Sevan Pack, of Palenville, New York, Mehgan Levesque of Putnam Valley, New York and Selena Roque of Carmel, New York, her great-grandchildren, Ethan, Caroline, Parker, Reagan, John Fox Daugherty, III, Anthony Scarfone and Juliette Pack and her great-great-granddaughter, Alana Woodard.
