Wille Mae Hooper

Willie Mae Hooper, age 84, of Demorest, Georgia passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023.

Mrs. Hooper was born on November 26, 1938 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late William Lester and Elzoria McAllister Kinsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William David Kinsey, and Homer "J.D." Kinsey; sisters, Vera Mae Shelnut, and Evelyn Choosewood;

Mrs. Hooper attended Trinity Full Gospel. She also was a homemaker.

Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Thomas W. Hooper, of Demorest; sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Keith and Diane Hooper, of Clarkesville; William Eugene and Susie Hooper, of Demorest; Tony Randall and Kristie Hooper, of Cleveland; brothers, Waymon Kinsey, of Mt. Airy; Roy Lee Kinsey, of Oakwood; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Pastor Dennis Taylor and Pastor John Henry Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2023 and 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the funeral home prior to the service.
