Jean Robinson Marshall

Jean Robinson Marshall, 95 of Winder formerly of Gainesville died Sunday November 26, 2023, at her residence.

Born in Gainesville, Ga. on October 31, 1928, Mrs. Marshall was the daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison and Sarah Etheleen Jarrard Robinson. She was a graduate of Gainesville High School and attended Brenau University as a Music Major.  Mrs. Marshall retired from Farmers Home Administration and also worked for many years as a kindergarten teacher at the Winder First United Methodist Church, where she also was a member.

Survivors include her son, Ben House, Gainesville, daughter, Cris House, Winder, grandchildren, Mendalyn Harper (Jacob Hunt), Cumming, Jeb Harper (Amber), Winder, Benjamin N. House, Oxford, and Melissa House, Marietta, her Great Grandchildren Reihgan Harper, Cambree Harper, Caisley Harper, Melanie and Kylie.

Mrs. Marshall is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Harriette Yvonne Robinson.

A private family service will be held Thursday November 30, 2023, in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Alta Vista Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions please be made to Winder First United Methodist Church Preschool program, 280 North Broad Street, Winder, Georgia 30680 in memory of Mrs. Marshall.
