Alan Lee Weinberg

Alan Lee Weinberg, age 75 of Gainesville, GA passed away peacefully on November 22, 2023.
Alan was born on April 13, 1948 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan, of 54 years, his son Sean (Brenda) Weinberg, and his daughter Jennifer (Dan) George, and grandchildren; Zachary, Savannah, Jacob, Nathan, and Sarah.
He was a graduate of Carlow College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in information technology. He worked as a systems analyst for 45 years.
Alan was an avid golfer and enjoyed golfing with his friends, son, and son in law every chance he got. He was very active, and enjoyed running in local races with his daughter, participating in the bowling league, scuba diving, photography, woodworking, and singing in the chorus. Alan loved to travel and enjoyed taking family vacations to the beach. He would always be the first one up in the morning, taking his grandchildren to the beach to look for seashells.
The family will be holding a private memorial.
