Jason Wayne Ganas

Jason Wayne Ganas, age 50, of Buford, GA passed away November 28, 2023, after a brief illness. He was born April 2, 1973, in Jacksonville, FL. He is survived by his loving parents, Kirby and Bonnie Ganas and devoted fiancée Lynne Greenfield. He is also survived by his grandmother Wadynne (Jean) Stone, brother Jeff Ganas and his wife Kelley, niece Taylor, and nephews Jonathan, Holden, and Noah.

Jason was an avid lover of the game of golf and enjoyed spending time with his golf group every Saturday he could. Jason had a love and passion for the Florida Gators and NASCAR racing. Jason had a zest for life and an infectious laugh. He never met a stranger and always had a joke in the queue to bring a laugh to the room.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel, 3481 Hamilton Mill Road, Buford, GA 30519. Pastor Danny Newbern will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Jason Ganas.
