Regina Ann Haney

Obituary Date: Sunday, December 3, 2023
Regina Ann Haney, age 72, of Murrayville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023. She was born on February 16, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Harry and Barbara Brians. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence Haney, and three cherished grandchildren.
 
Regina is survived by her children, Jimmy (Jennifer) Werfelman of Madisonville, KY, James (Susan) Haney of Covington, KY, Stacy (Dewayne) Weber of Greenville, KY, and Melissa (Chad) Borchers of Murrayville, Georgia. She is also survived by her sister, Karen Fenner of Cincinnati, OH. Regina leaves behind a legacy of love and family, including 22 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
 
Known for her unwavering support and enthusiasm, Regina was a devoted Bengals fan, with a special place in her heart for Evan McPherson. Beyond her immediate family, she served as a mother figure to many, extending her nurturing spirit to those fortunate enough to know her.
 
Regina was the cornerstone of her family, the glue that bound them together. A selfless giver, she touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love for Elvis added a musical note to her vibrant personality, creating fond memories for those who shared in her passions.
 
A celebration of Regina's life is scheduled for Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. Following the service, the family will be present to receive friends until 5:00 PM.
