Carlton Monroe "Sonny" Clark

Carlton Monroe "Sonny" Clark, 94 of Gainesville died Monday December 11, 2023, at his residence.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Clark was the son of the late John Nathaniel and Josie Roberts Clark. He worked for a number of years for Temperature Supply, before opening his own business, Refrigeration Specialist from which he retired with over 50 years of service. Mr. Clark served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.

Mr. Clark is survived by a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and a number of other family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Imogene Dale Clark, sisters, Bedell Dumas, Inez Elrod, Jewrel Clark, and brother, John Clark, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Thursday December 14, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Heyward Clark will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Lakeside Mausoleum at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday December 13 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and also on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
