Louise Mumpower Ballew

Ms. Louise Mumpower Ballew, age 81 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Oakwood City Cemetery.  Reverend Bobby Brown will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 1 – 3 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Ms. Ballew was born June 14, 1942 in Covington, Georgia to the late Eugene F. Mumpower and Lilly Kathleen Owenby Mumpower.  She was retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center where she worked as a Pharmacy Technician.  Louise was a member of Free Chapel Worship Center and was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lafayette Ballew and her daughter, Virginia Carol Bugg.

Ms. Ballew is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Ernest Eugene & April Ballew of Lula, her grandchildren, Venora Ballew, Cody Bugg, Michael Jenkins and Joshlynn Ballew, brothers & sisters-in-law, Billy & Nancy Mumpower of Gainesville and Charles & Sue Mumpower of Oakwood, brothers, Boyd Mumpower of Covington and Jimmy Mumpower of Gainesville and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
