Clarence E. "Eddie" Hopwood

Mr. Clarence E. “Eddie” Hopwood, age 61, of Murrayville passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Gainesville, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with entombment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Rev. Clyde Self will officiate.  The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Hopwood was born September 23, 1962 to the late Stanley & Ruby Hopwood in Bremerton, Washington.  A member of Chicopee Baptist Church, he was retired from the United States Postal Service.

Mr. Hopwood is survived by his wife, Arlene Rabino Hopwood; son, Jacob Hopwood; daughter, Misty Hopwood; brothers, Gary Hopwood and Jeff (Cris) Hopwood; and sisters, Becky (Lynn) Yarbrough and Stana Hopwood.
