Julius Lee Stephens

Julius Lee Stephens, Jr. was born on November 4, 1982 in Gainesville, GA to the late Julius Lee Stephens, Sr. and Mary Strickland Bailey. He went home to be with the Lord on December 15, 2023. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed and Mary Strickland and Lucy Mae Thomas and Henry Lee Lott; and uncle, James E. Strickland.

Julius went to East Hall High School. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He gave his life to Christ at an early age. He worked at the Pendergrass Flea Market until his health failed. Furthermore, he bred Pitbulls.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his two precious daughters, Julia Johnson and Lasha Johnson, both of Habersham, GA; mother and stepfather, Mary (Johnny) Bailey; sister, Shajuana Stephens; aunts, Diane (Thomas) Strickland Patricia (Willie) Hill, and Sherry Strickland; uncle, Willie (Betty) Strickland; special nephews, Jovawn Stephens, Pablo Martinez, and Samuel Stephens; great uncle, Charlie (Linda) Stringer; great aunts, Eloise Stringer, John (Shirley) Dorsey, Linda Burton, and Joyce Pruitt; and a host of other relatives and friends.  

Funeral service will be held Saturday December 23, 2023 at 1pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be Friday December 22, 2023 from 4pm-8pm.
