David Wayne Wilson

Mr. David Wayne Wilson, 66, of Gainesville, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 at Emory Hospital following a brief illness.

A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date..

Born on June 14, 1957 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late James Riley Wilson and the late Joyce Collins Wilson. He was retired from Wrigley’s where he was an operator. Mr. Wilson was a member of New Holland Methodist Church and an online member of Free Chapel.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sheilda Wilson of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, Stephen and Shelly Wilson of Braselton; daughter and son in law, Heather and Kelly Kirksey of Buford; grandchildren, Cadence, Kendall, Kinsley, Pryce, Spencer, Sutton, Hannah; brother and sister in law, Terry and Susan Wilson of Murrayville; sister, Vickie Taylor of Oakwood and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
