Kaitlyn Marie Dempsey

Miss Kaitlyn Marie Dempsey, 18, of Flowery Branch, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023, at her residence.

A Celebration of Life Service will be announced soon.

Born on December 2, 2005 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of Jason Anthony and Rachel Marie Dempsey Curley. Kaitlyn was a very vibrant and artistic person. She was a Bright Star that lit up a room. If Kaitlyn was in the room everyone knew it. She loved to entertain. She loved the outdoors and nature. She was enamored with the stars, moon, sunsets, water and mountains.  Kaitlyn was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

Kaitlyn was preceded in death by her grandmother, Carolyn Hutchins and great grandparents, Alfred and Mary Johnson.

Kaitlyn is survived by her parents, Jason and Rachel Curley of Flowery Branch; brother, David Anthony Curley of Flowery Branch; grandparents, Mary Curley of Flowery Branch and Paul Curley of Destin, FL; grandparents, David and Jeannie Dempsey of Oakwood; aunts and uncles, Beth and Troy Russell of Flowery Branch, Christopher Curley of Flowery Branch, Scott Dempsey, Sr. of Bogart, Scott Dempsey, Jr. of Oakwood, Kim Davis of Pendergrass, Kevin Davis of Gainesville; special cousins, Kimberly Golden of Smyrna, Alexis Lay of Gainesville; life friend, Bradyn Cook of Gainesville and a host of loving cousins, great aunts and uncles and other loving relatives.
