Kathy Jeanette Jones

Mrs. Kathy Jeanette Jones, 63, of Lula, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Lovell will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

She was born on February 19, 1960 in DeKalb County, GA. An avid and talented seamstress, she had a passion for sewing beautiful quilts, blankets and clothing. Kathy had an unforgettable, exuberant personality. She was kind and caring and adored her family. She was loved beyond measure and will be truly missed.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Timmy B Jones of Lula; son Kevin Loudermilk of Rabun County, stepdaughters Jenny Robinson and Aliza McMillan both of Gainesville, 5 sisters, 1 brother, 8 grandchildren, and her beloved fur baby, Daisy May.
