Kinue “Kim” Head

Mrs. Kinue “Kim” Head, 94, of Gainesville, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at her residence.

The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Interment will be in Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 12:30 p.m.

Born on March 31, 1929 in Kisarazu, Japan, she was the daughter of the late Genpei Ogawa and the late Shima Obara. She worked at Modree’s, at Sherwood Plaza, where she worked as a seamstress; then she worked at Warren Featherbone where she worked in sales and then retired from Shoe Dept at Lakeshore Mall.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Head was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Warren Head.

Mrs. Head is survived by her sons, Edwin Head of Gainesville, Dave Head of Gainesville; sister in law, Artis Head of Gainesville; grandchildren, Laramy and Alex Burel, Ryu Head, and daughter in law, Marissa Lear of Cumming.
