Jane Howell Jones

Jane Howell Jones, 81 of Gainesville died Saturday January 20, 2024, at her residence.

Jane Jones was loved by everyone that knew her. She was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She graduated from North Hall High School Class of 1960. She was a member at Sardis Baptist Church. A kind and sweet soul who enjoyed ceramic, painting and spending time with her family. She will forever be missed. Her family does look forward to the day they will see her again. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 24, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Thompson and Rev. Al Waltz will officiate.  Interment will follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday January 23 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Melinda Jones, granddaughter, Katie Jones, granddaughter and husband, Meleah and Andrew Adamson, all of Gainesville, great grandchildren, Laynee Adamson, David Reece Adamson, Charlee Adamson and Dean Adamson.

Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her husband, Bill C. Jones, parents, Alvin "Coot" and Ora Lou White Howell, grandson, David C. Jones, sisters, Martha Gilmer, Charlotte Roberts and brother, David Howell.
