Johnny Vance McGee

Mr. Johnny Vance McGee, age 41 of Summit Drive, Carnesville, Georgia passed away Monday, January 15, 2024.

A son of Johnny Jr. Burke and Gloria Ann McGee Partain, he was born March 12, 1982 in Clarke County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Toccoa and Carnesville, Georgia.  He was a Security Guard with GardaWorld and was an Entrepreneur. He was of the Baptist faith. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hugh McGee, John Smith Burke and Vassie Louise Burke, Step father Dewey Partain, and by two aunts, Priscilla Heard and Louise Mack.

Survivors include his parents, Johnny Jr. Burke and Gloria Ann McGee Partain; his wife, Andrea Miness McCollum McGee of the home; daughters, Dejanea McGee of the home and Allyson (Bradley) McCollum of Carnesville; son, Amari Beal of Bridgeport, Connecticut; brother, Exzavior Teasley; sisters, Iesha McGee, Lakita McGee and Quacia Johnson; grandmother, Eva McGee of Snellville, Georgia; aunts, Peggy Hightower of Toccoa, Ruth Means of Carnesville and Carsha Burke of Toccoa; mother-in-law, Pat Crunkleton of Toccoa; a number of cousins, nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 27, 2024, 2 o’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Marlin Knox officiating.  The follow gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Stanley Randolph, Jermaine Barnett, Johann Curry, Tyrus Mayfield, Charles Mayfield and Quinnon Mayfield.  The following gentlemen will serve as honorary pallbearers, Chris McDougal, Nate Howard, Detrick Scott, Willian Oglesby, Taurean Arthur, and Jesse Smith.  The following ladies will serve as Flower Girls, Dominga Fleming, Tamara Lipkins, Jessica Montgomery, Demetrius Dooley, Alaina Mayfield, Miya Mayfield.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday, January 26, 2024, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturday from noon until the service time. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Johnny Vance McGee.
