Mrs. Betty Sue Boggs, age 82, of Flowery Branch passed away Friday, January 26, 2024, surrounded by her family.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Barry Payne will officiate. The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
Mrs. Boggs was born July 7, 1941 to the late Hubert Arnold & Bertie Alene Overby Coggins in Gainesville. She was retired from the Gwinnett Daily News, where she worked in Production.
Mrs. Boggs is survived by her sons Robert Lee (Lynn) Boggs and Anthony Donald Boggs; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Boggs; and 12 siblings.
