Carrie Louise Lee

Mrs. Carrie Louise Truelove Lee, 93, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Born on February 14, 1930 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Bessie Fields Truelove. She was a homemaker who loved caring for her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Jewell Lee; brothers, Herman Truelove, Kenneth Truelove and sisters, Frances Hooper and Peggy Hayes.

Mrs. Lee is survived by her sons and daughter in law, Steve Lee and Martha E. Clayton of Thomaston, Paul Lee of Royston; brothers, Billy Truelove of Gainesville, Johnny Truelove of Murrayville; sister, Jo Adams of Clarkesville; granddaughter, Iris E. Lee of Columbus and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
