Dorothy Ann "Dot" Sisk Simpson

Dorothy Ann "Dot" Sisk Simpson, age 82, of Mt. Airy, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 5, 2024.

Mrs. Simpson was born on February 3, 1942 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Vernon and Bertha Sisk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Simpson; and brothers, Donald Sisk and Gerald Sisk.

Dot was of the Baptist Faith. She dedicated herself to her family as a devoted homemaker. Dot's commitment to her loved ones knew no bounds, and her presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew her. One of Dot's greatest passions was found amidst the petals and blooms of her cherished flower garden that she loved to tend to.

Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Charles Neal Simpson, of Mt. Airy; son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Betty Simpson, of Mt. Airy; son, Danny Simpson, of Mt. Airy; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Heather Simpson, of West Union, SC; brother, Martin and Susie Sisk, of Clarkesville; grandchildren, Amanda Simpson, Blake Simpson, Ashley Smith, and Josie Simpson; and one great-grandchild.

A Visitation to celebrate Dot's life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel.

A Private Interment will follow on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at the Hazel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
