Barbara Annette Doss West

Barbara Annette Doss West, age 83, of Buford GA, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-seven years, Hubert D. West; her parents, Cecil Doss and Beulah Dutton Davidson; step-father, G, Lloyd Davidson; brother, Charles Doss.  Mrs. West is survived by her sons, Roger (June) West of Buford, GA, Ricky West of Flowery Branch, GA; three grandchildren, Nolan West, Cortland West (Josh) Stetler, Colby West; one great-grandchild, River Stetler; two sisters, Linda (Billy) Cox of St. Mountain, GA, Gail Davidson of St. Mountain.  She was born on November 6, 1940 in Snellville, GA.  Mrs. West received her education from Tucker High School in Tucker, GA where she met her late husband, Hubert West. She was retired from Sears Distribution Center in Tucker after forty years of service.  Mrs. West was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Buford and she also worked part-time as a secretary for Sugar Hill Methodist Church.  A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Harmony Baptist Church located in Buford, GA  30518 in memory of Barbara Annette Doss West.
