Lorene Grissom Rich

Lorene Grissom Rich was born January 25th 1955 in Barrow County, Georgia to the late Mr. Curtis Jake Grissom and Mrs. Winnie Lee Grissom Russell. She was the youngest of seven children born to this union. She departed this life Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Northside Medical Center, Lawrenceville, Georgia. She was a member of White Oak Springs Missionary Baptist Church until her health began to fail. Lorene attended Glenwood schools and enjoyed working construction and was last employed at John Mansville Inc. in Winder, Georgia. She loved to talk, laugh, and have fun and you could expect a daily call from her. When you saw Lorene you could count on her being in her heels, jewelry, and eyelashes. She was preceded in death by her father Curtis Jake Grissom; Mother, Winnie Lee Grissom Russell; sisters, Virginia Grissom Williams and Emma Grissom; and brother Buren Lee Russell. She leaves precious memories to her children Trina Grissom and Melitta Weaver; siblings, Mary Ann Grissom Price, Saralee Johnson,Jon (Cathy) Grissom, and La Trelle(Charles) Pate. Grand children; Shakari Grissom, Dante Weaver, Cameron Millsap, Aliyah Weaver and Taylor Millsap. 4 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
