Ms. Brenda Ruth Fields, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Her-mon (Reba) Fields Sr., was born April 30, 1949 in Jackson County, and the youngest of three. She was preceded in death by her sister Ms. Alma Lou, Bailey, Harris, and brother Mr Herman Frank Fields Sr. Brenda attended public school and was a graduate of EE Butler High School. Brenda was a faithful member of Glory Tabernacle where you could find her driving that motorized wheelchair early Sunday Morning. She also was a lifetime member of pride of Gainesville #490 Order of the Eastern Star. Brenda was called home on February 8, 2024 after an extended illness surrounded by family and loved ones. Though she never had kids of her own, she treated her many grand nieces and nephews as they were all her special kids. Brenda will be greatly missed by her many friends, family, and extended relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Rucker Memorial Baptist Church at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 between the hours of 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Rucker Memorial Baptist Church. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home
