Jewell Grady Witherow

Mr. Jewell Grady Witherow, age 86, of Flowery Branch passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at New Horizon – Lanier Park, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 24, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Rev. Ricky Stone and Rev. Robert Nix will officiate.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 23 2024 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Witherow was born June 5, 1937 to the late Charlie & Delia Witherow in Dawsonville, Georgia.  A member of East Hall Baptist Church, he retired from Wrigley’s after 27 years and then worked as a Greeter for 12 years at Sam’s Club.  An Avid NASCAR Fan, he and his family loved vacationing in Daytona Beach.

Mr. Witherow is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jeanene Witherow of Flowery Branch; son & daughter-in-law, Kenneth & Becky Witherow of Flowery Branch; daughter & son-in-law, Kalen & Chad Renfroe of Jefferson;; brother & sister-in-law, Paul & Shirley Witherow of Cumming; grandchildren, Kacy & Matt Giles, Krystle & Adam Nuspilger, Nick & Paige Oney, Noah & Elise Searcy, Mya Renfroe and Scott Renfroe; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Gene Witherow and sisters, Maxine Clark and Charlene Adams.
